What is the minimum distance you must maintain from the vehicle in front of you if you are travelling on this road with your passenger car at the maximum permitted speed?

Why?

The image shows the A4 motorway, where the default limit for a passenger car is 140 km/h. At that speed, the minimum gap to a vehicle in the same lane is 70 m, half the numerical speed value. A 60 m gap is too short, while 80 m is allowed but is not the required minimum. This rule does not apply during overtaking.
