Is it permitted to stop a vehicle in a residential zone?

Why?

The visible D-40 residential zone sign does not impose a general ban on stopping. You may voluntarily stop for up to one minute if you create no danger, do not obstruct traffic and comply with other restrictions. The requirement to use designated spaces applies to parking, which Polish rules define as voluntarily remaining stationary for more than one minute.
