Can you stop the vehicle in such a designated space if you are transporting a disabled person with a parking permit?

Why?

The wheelchair symbols on the signs and blue parking bays identify spaces reserved for eligible vehicles. You may park here when transporting a person with a disability who holds a valid parking card. Display their card behind the windscreen so its number and expiry date can be read.
