When can you use rear anti-fog lights while driving?

aWhen visibility in heavy rain is limited to 60 m.
bWhen visibility in thick fog is limited to 100 m.
cWhen visibility during snowfall is less than 50 m.
Why?
The amber symbol in the illustration represents the rear fog lights. You may switch them on when fog, precipitation or similar conditions reduce visibility to less than 50 metres, so the snowfall described meets this requirement. Visibility of 60 or 100 metres does not justify switching them on. Once visibility improves enough that the requirement is no longer met, you must switch them off immediately.
