Are you allowed to ride an electric scooter at a speed of 30 km/h on the road?
YES
NO
Why?
An electric scooter like the one in the picture has a maximum permitted speed of 20 km/h, including on the carriageway. The 30 km/h threshold refers to the road's speed limit when determining whether scooters may use it under the other applicable conditions, not to the scooter's own permitted speed.
