Why?
If you witness a pedestrian being hit, stop safely, make sure it is safe to help and call 112 or 999. Give first aid within your abilities, following the emergency operator's instructions. The duty to help does not apply only to the person who caused the accident, and roadside assistance cannot replace medical help.
