How should you behave while passing an oncoming vehicle at night in a passenger car?

aLook straight into the lights of the oncoming vehicle.
bChange the low beam lights into high beam lights.
cLook right to the source of light of the oncoming vehicle and look for possible obstacles there.

Why?

When passing an oncoming vehicle at night, look to the right of its headlights and watch for obstacles in your path. This reduces glare and helps you keep observing the road. Looking directly into the headlights impairs your vision, while switching to high beam can dazzle the other driver, so A and B are incorrect.
