Are you obliged to observe the road in the exterior mirror in this situation before you join the traffic?
YES
NO
Why?
Yes, when pulling out into traffic, you must take particular care and give way to other road users. The mirror shows a bus approaching from behind, so you must check that you will not pull out into its path. Check your blind spot as well as the mirror.
