What is the maximum number of persons, including yourself, that you may transport if you have a B-category driving licence?

Why?

Category B, shown on the licence in the picture, allows a maximum of 9 people including the driver, meaning 8 passengers plus yourself. You must also stay within the seating capacity recorded in the vehicle registration certificate. Five is not the maximum for this category, while a vehicle designed to carry 10 people is classed as a bus and requires a different licence entitlement.
