Are you allowed to go past the traffic lights in this situation?

Why?

The flashing amber signal at the crossing warns of danger and requires extra caution, but does not prohibit passing the signal. You may continue while obeying road signs and the general traffic rules. Watch the crossing carefully, because flashing amber does not give you priority over pedestrians.
