In the presented situation, are you permitted to stop on the pavement before the sign?

Why?

The T-25c plate with a downward arrow below the B-36 sign marks the end of the stopping restriction. Before the sign, the restriction still applies, including on the pavement on that side of the road. You therefore cannot stop there on the pavement.
