If you're involved in a car accident in which there are injured persons, can you leave the scene of the accident once the ambulance service has been called?

Why?

The photo shows ambulances and emergency personnel at the scene. Anyone involved in a crash with injured people must remain there, so calling for help does not give you permission to leave. If you must leave to summon emergency services, you must return immediately.
