If you're involved in a car accident in which there are fatalities, are you obliged to remain on the scene of the accident after the ambulance service had been called?

Why?

The photo shows police and emergency services securing the scene. If someone has died in a crash, you must remain at the scene as a participant, even after notifying emergency services. If leaving is necessary to summon help, you must return immediately.
