aStatic - sitting in a stiff position, without moving your body or head.
bDynamic - bending your body and head away from the seat, as required by the circumstances.
cAny position - as long as it guarantees comfort of driving.
Why?
The door mirror shown in the picture does not cover the entire area beside and behind the car. Small movements of your head and upper body change your viewing angle and help reveal objects in the blind spot. Sitting rigidly or choosing a position purely for comfort does not provide this improvement in visibility.
